“Smiling would be a good start”
Uh… Neon Genesis Evangelion is one of the weirdest and messiest stuff I’ve ever seen , with philosophical implications in almost every episode , completely fcked up sci-fi elements , random fan service , characters that should all be sent to therapy , and a plot that
I went in Scott Pilgrim Takes Off just expecting another adaptation of the source material with stylish animation , and it’s definitely that for the first 25 minutes , until Scott Pilgrim (bleep)-ing “dies” , and we get a different , but equally awesome story that manages to give the spotlight to Ra

“Not everything in the galaxy can be calculated. Sometimes… you have to trust your gut.”
Y’all this was so much fun! I would have eaten this UP as a kid omg this is honestly a great show. The mystery of At Attin was so cool, I loved working through it and getting new hints each episode. Old repu
I’m sure glad I just re-watched The Goonies.
if 80’s and 90’s movies about kids ending up on an oops adventure were also part of your childhood like they were mine and they filled your heart with excitement and wonder then you should have a great time.
It felt like a warm blanket of Amblin class
if i had a nickel for every time a piece of star wars media had a white guy pull a blue lightsaber out with the intent to kill children i'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice right?
i say it every week but each episode gets more and more insane. The kids l
everyone say thank you bryce dallas howard for another killer episode🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
KB is incredible representation for all of us who live with physical or mental disabilities that might limit what we can do. Inclusivity is incredibly important, thank you star wars for touching upon it.🤍
“Come on baby! Onto the ship baby! Come on! Don’t make me count!”
Another banger. I love the emphasis on Neel this week, and his comparative optimism. He reminds me a lot of Omega (more on that in my formal review) which I love the contrast to. The way he communicates with Hayna is really endearing
This show is so good man I can’t believe I thought this was a show meant for kids when it’s clearly not. There’s lots that actually holds up in this show and I feel like the acting has gotten so much better since the pilot and the character moments + adventure and imaginative world building makes fo
NEEL DESERVES ALL THE KISSES AND LOVE IN THE WORLD HE WAS SPOUTING NOTHING BUT WISDOM THIS EPISODE AND HE STOOD UP TO SM33. I LOVE YOU NEEL #NEELNATION
also that ending made me laugh so hard
I’m hooked. I’m a sucker for this stuff, I’ll happily admit it! I have nostalgia and a bias for Star Wars! I also have bias towards exciting, epic, and inspired fantasy filmmaking for children. I have a bias towards shows and movies that take me places I want to visit, where I see loads of weird lit
This was a really really fun first episode. I really enjoyed the opening sequence; I have a feeling that Pirate is Jude Law's character, so I'm excited to see where that goes. And the entire time spent with the kids is so much fun, especially the part of Wim and Neel having lightsaber battles and st
OH MY GOODNESS.
What a FUN and exciting beginning! Despite everyone being concerned about the suburbia, it looks really cool! The infrastructure and interior design is reminiscent of the Star Cruiser and Coruscant cleanliness. There’s clearly something fishy going on there, too! Plus a healthy does
Neel is a real friend. I'll risk my life for him fr.
Movie level direction, visual effects, and music combined with winning performances, Skeleton Crew has quite possibly the best series premiere of any Star Wars series.
Jon Watts is COOKING!
"Meesa the Phantom Menace"
Pretty fun! Surely the best Lego x Star Wars crossover to come out of the Disney era (not that the bar was high). It's certainly more well done as a what if? than the marvel's ones, but still has no complexity and all these twists serve a story and characters who are new.
Darth Mendoza I'll miss you 😔
Edit: Manny Jacinto and Amandla Stenberg deserved better, sucks what happened with this show honestly. These so called "fans" that would only spread hate towards anything that's different and tries new things and don't even bother to give the show a chance are idiots
It was a pretty common opinion among Star Wars fans to want this show in particular to be the second coming of Andor. I guess its promise of interrogating an existing power structure, in this case, the Jedi Order before its fall, was appealing in the same way as Andor's contempt for the Empire's spa

The Acolyte is not as terrible as most people make it out to be.
The story is not good as it could've been, it still gives an interesting plot for the most part. The murder mystery aspect and investigation was quite entertaining to watch. Also the unreliable narrator plotline really worked
The Acolyte investigates, interrogates, and kills the fantasy of an all-good patriarchal order, and Incel Troopers were screaming, crying, kicking their feet in a basement far, far away. Stay pressed, losers.
