another great ep, everything keeps heating up in all 3 time periods with stuff like noah grooming bartosz, ulrich getting imprisoned in 1953 and aleksander showing up in 1986. i find it funny how scared he got when hannah exposed him during the massage, there's no way two passports could crumble down the empire he snuck himself into with the power plan and even if it did he could've just put a hit on hannah instead of ulrich.

Starting this new show!! Another long one, yes. I was debating myself between 4 and 4.5 because this was a very very good way to start the show and to introduce Jane as a character and his backstory with Red John. I decided to lean more towards a high 4 because of a main reason that affects 90% of pilots and that’s the rushed pacing. It’s very normal that they can’t find a way to introduce everything they need to introduce in just 45 minutes, so it always happens.

But besides that, this was very enjoyable, specially anytime Jane was on screen. I can tell he’s always gonna be extremely charismatic.

sweetpea got attacked (targeted by that guy probably) and then started asking how does harper fuck😭. i like those two actually. that was the most random side quest ever, even tho it isn't random and it isn't side. sweetpea is such a queen, i love her💔

i love this song so much, especially that ending of sweetpea crying with "eyes without a face" verse going on, perfect writing there🙏. finally an episode focused on harper's plot and not yasmin and henry's 

serializd should've told me that this episode came out on friday and not tomorrow😒 also rip jay, charlie heaton didn't even last 5 episodes😞 (probably because of stranger things)

10 out of 10. 107 days, that's how long it has taken me to get here. This episode is the biggest reason as to why I started watching Gintama. The things I had heard about this episode made me think it would be the best thing I will ever see. And after 305 episodes, I finally got there. Sworn Enemy. It was a hard journey to say the least, considering Gintama's comedy aspect sometimes wasn't very pleasant with some god awful arcs and some insanely boring episodes, it was very difficult to get here, but after watching this episode, I can confidently say it was worth it.

I went into Sworn Enemy with huuuuge expectations, I expected it to be my top 3 episode at the very least, and I was honestly very scared to watch it and feel disappointed. The moment I started the episode, I knew that It would not disappoint me. Every second of this episode is absolute perfection, I think it might be the most consistent episode of all time. This episode might as well have the best voice acting, dialogues, backstory, depth, and storytelling I have ever seen.

I would go and analyze every aspect of the episode, but I'm not smart, nor creative enough to do so. I seriously recommend you to watch some of the great analyses there are on the Internet for not just this episode, but all of Gintama, which is an absolute misunderstood masterpiece. If you're sitting at a crossroad, deciding between watching Gintama or not, I'd say that you should at least give it a try. Watching Gintama without its comedy episodes would make the masterpiece it is, souless, since they serve as a way for you to connect, relate and get to know the whole cast and their intentions. Without them, it would not be Gintama, and even though, yes, some episodes are hot garbage, just grin through it and stand strong, which is Gintama's main message imo. And (almost) every single episode has led me to enjoy this episode even further❤️‍🩹.

How the fuck is it this good already??
The final sequence might be the best thing I've seen in ages, idk if this is the full conclusion of his character but if it was then I'd fucking love it 

And it's meant to get even better??? If it somehow surpasses this then this is definitely gonna be one of the best animes I've seen

Fucking hell, what a perfectly beautiful yet horrifyingly traumatic experience 😭 every single aspect of production just hit its absolute peak in this episode, from the direction and cinematography to the voice acting and soundtrack, with multiple of them being arguably the best in all of tv

I’d listened to the 7 minute Requiem of Silence ost before this and thought it was great, but only after watching the episode do I understand just how perfectly it’s haunting tone matches the events that unfold before Subaru, and it’s now unarguably one of the best uses of music ever

Also in terms of voice acting, not only does Subaru’s va have a generational performance as he descends into madness, but the antagonist introduced in this ep (maybe the best antag intro behind Utsuro) is also absolutely incredible, and despite how vile he is, I somehow can’t wait to see more of him 😭 tbh you can even include Rem’s va aswell since the lines she delivers at the end of the cave scene is probably my favourite part of the entire episode, and also she’s my favourite character of the show

I think I figured out what happened at the end, but the fact this is already one of the best episodes I’ve ever seen and there’s still so many unanswered questions just goes to show how incredible the production aspects are on their own, and also the feeling confusion and shock it gives you is yet another part of what makes this episode so special

Some racists in the detective bureau in 1989, this blonde infuriated me even more, stupid feminism and racism, the boys just went out for a walk, but the rape was immediately attributed to them, nothing fits in time, but it is necessary that they were guilty, under psychological interrogation, the first claim, the second calmly inspires ideas, and so they said it's not a professional job at all, of course, they'll agree, they're just kids who are beaten and humiliated by forty-year-old men, in short, I hope this whole story gets to the truth, and Omar Little came straight from the wire, sorry, I couldn't help but point out

Best of the season imo. Nothing Special but a decent conclusion and good set up for s3
