I love how it fully embraces the ugly sides of these characters. They all have their quirks and personalities, but it doesn't shy away from making them unlikeable—while still fleshing them out so we can get a full range of personality. I really enjoyed this. It's quick, it's short, and it has a very

Such a fantastic show. It's interesting seeing other people's reaction to Valerie Cherish. For others, she's insufferable and the worst person you've ever met, but for some, like me, she's an endearing, crazy mess. I read somewhere that Lisa Kudrow said that when the first season aired in 2005, it

Pure dark comedy. Inside No. 9 always likes to have a gimmick of some sort, but they always use that gimmick to enhance the experience. In here, most of the exciting events aren't seen, but heard. You think it'll make a complete indictment on the audience's obsession with twisty, murderous stories (

Right from the start, there's a pervading sense of horror lurking beneath the surface. The fake laughs, the uneasy smiles... it takes its time to get under your skin until a finale so fast you will barely be able to blink. The finale isn't the highlight. Sure, it's dark, but for a show that's built

Sofia Vergara disappears into the role. I'm actually surprised at how immersed I was with everything—I watched this in just half a day, and even though it's a series I feel would've been best watched weekly, it's engaging from the first episode till the last. They managed to show how crazy Griselda

Some very satisfying character arcs and I managed to finish this in one sitting. It's a bit inconsistent, especially with the balance of humor and darkness, but I love how fleshed out the characters are. Episode 5 has the most satisfying storyline and they weave these different timelines so well, es

It's easy to try to compare this with FX's The Bear, but they're two completely different series, and I appreciate them both for different reasons. I loved the 2021 movie, and while I do think it's not as tightly put together, it's still a great transition from feature-length into television. It's

Honestly, this is Inside No. 9 level funny and it works because of how well they show the plot. It's stupid and surreal and relevant. It's really less about the twist (it wasn't even a twist, more like just a revelation) and more about how good they're able to tell the story. I can't explain it, but

It's impressive that the quality is even better than the first. I was very nervous for this season as many good shows tend to have a significantly worse second season. But this holds up. The twist shocked me and I'm disappointed and impressed that they went all the way. Also, somebody 'spoiled' me

This is the series equivalent of realizing that we're just gonna be doing laundry then folding laundry then wearing laundry then washing laundry then folding laundry again and again and again till we die

Bitches gonna be watching this and go "yass queen I stan" *it's me. I'm bitches.

No words, only :(

The Last of Us (2023)

S01 E01 · When You're Lost in the Darkness
I watched this in public and I should get an award for resisting the urge to immediately scream "DADDY!" the moment Pedro Pascal came in

It combines the raunchy energy of Season One with the family friendly Season Two. It's not as great as season one but I certainly enjoyed it much more than two. It's silly and stupid (as most early 2000s sitcoms were) but it's a good time and I'm having fun watching it.

Rhaenys be the absolute baddest bitch!!!

[My review for the miniseries as a whole] Right from the start it tells us how it ends. It's a risky move, knowing how it all goes down while maintaining the audience's attention isn't easy, but they pull it off. It's not a traditional crime show, sometimes it almost feels like a parody of one, an

Fantastic ending. Right from the very start of the first episode it tells us how it ends. How the story ends. How the conventional ending would be. But this miniseries is anything but conventional. Alienating, intimate and beautiful, it's not for someone looking for a typical crime show. David Thew

The style is alienating but I can't deny just how well they made this. Olivia Colman is the best.

Littlefinger: I do it for power and personal gain Larys: I DO IT FOR THE FEET 😩🥵

Beautiful so far. It excels on dizzyingly great surreal visuals though I understand why people hate it: it makes the show much slower. But it's great, it's a nice welcome compared to all the other crime shows out there.

This show continues to not be as horny as Game of Thrones and it is up to the audience's duty to be the horny one Graham McTavish is FINE AND I SPENT THE ENTIRE EPISODE JUST THIRSTING FOR HIM FR FR

Actually loved this much more than season 1. It's bonkers and I was actually unsure of which direction they're gonna go with. Additional half star for Mitski!
