Somehow took me almost three years to finish this despite the fact that Twin Peaks was and still is one of my favorite shows ever. When I started this season back in 2021, I was so insanely obsessed with everything about it. But as the Return went on, I began to lose interest. Episodes in the middle

Haven’t seen this in years, and for some reason I always felt like the show didn’t really get going until the twist in the season finale. That twist is just so insane and smart and a big part of what makes the show what it is, but I really forgot how charming and fun the rest of this season is. Sets

I love everything Nathan Fielder does so of course I was excited about this. I brought it up multiple times a day to anyone and everyone for a solid two months. It’s crazy and it’s weird and though sometimes it may feel a tiny bit pointless that doesn’t matter to me. Because it all makes for a very

Five stars? The O.C.? Is this some kinda bit? No. It is not a bit. I fucking love The O.C.. I love everything about it. It’s dumb and it’s cheesy but it has Seth Cohen and a great soundtrack and that’s all I really need in a show. I spend an absurd amount of time thinking about this characters and t

I need to stop forgetting this is my favorite animated show. Especially this first season, I love rough animation and improvised dialogue that I know improved over time, but I find it the most charming early on.

As a big fan of the books and the movie, this was a lot of fun. I love that they chose to take it in a different direction from the stuff we already had. There’s so many great characters and potential within the universe that although it would have been fun to relive the comics in an animated form,

Takes me a while to get through a season of this show, but that’s only because I don’t watch it very consistently. It’s really well written and a lot of fun. Julia Louis-Dreyfus is always great. And that scene where Gary’s nose is bleeding is hilarious. That whole second to last episode is pretty gr

This season starts really strong and then kinda slowly falls apart. Makes sense as Aaron Sorkin probably devoted much more time to working on the first season of West Wing (which I am watching right now), so most of the episodes towards the back half of the season have three or four writers. The cha

I love this. The writing is smart, it doesn’t really look like any other animated show, and there’s a lot of cool music in it. Kevin is fucking annoying but other than that (and I can get over that) I love everything about this show.

Really disappointing that this show had to go out on its worst season. Though I don’t dislike the final episode at all, I feel that a lot of time this season was spent on the things that really aren’t all that important, rather than focusing on the big things that seem central to the plot. Like this

I feel this show really reached its peak in season three, and after there it really wasn’t sure where to go. Midge’s plotline really isn’t all that interesting this season, and a lot of time is wasted on Rose and her stupid matchmaking thing, making the better parts of the season the bits that expan

I feel like in the first season nearly every episode feels like this big event. I could see an argument for five or six of those episodes being the best of the entire series. Because of that, season two is automatically not quite the same. With the exception of the two part finale (which is by the f

Somehow hadn’t watched the whole thing all the way through in three years. The only episodes I’d ever actually rewatched were the Christmas one and The Blindside, and though those are still perfect episodes, I actually found that my favorites this time may have been ones I’d hadn’t really considered

Had only ever seen through the Battle of The Bands episode (which was actually my introduction to Nirvan(n)a the Band as a whole). The episodes I’d seen were just as funny as I’d remembered, but the ones I hadn’t seen were just as good. It gets better as it goes on, and it’s really cool to see them

Definitely the best season so far. Midge being on tour surprisingly doesn’t get old, and though Shy’s character arc was a bit predictable from the start, it still worked and it was nice to see it play out. I especially appreciate the way the Palladinos try to build off of their side characters and m

I’m gonna be honest, I was a little worried about season two of The Bear. The first season wrapped up so perfectly that I was worried a second season could only damage the show’s reputation. Well I was wrong and I’m so glad that I was. This show has gone from being something I really really liked to

About on par with the first season, except for one episode which I found to just be extremely dull. It’s the one showing Midge and Susie traveling from venue to venue. It easily could’ve just been a montage in one episode and worked perfectly fine there, but instead it’s stretched out to being an en

I love the Palladino’s signature style of writing dialogue, and seeing it in something so different from Gilmore Girls makes me appreciate it even more. This is one of those shows that gets a fairly simple premise and precedes to do everything with it that it can, always knowing where to go and what

This is maybe (with the exception of Arrested Development) the funniest show I’ve ever watched. Something about Tim Robinson and these bizarre ideas (I often wonder how they could even come up with this shit) never fails to make me laugh. I want a million more seasons of this made as soon as possibl

Though I would never call it bad, Ted Lasso’s third (and hopefully last) season is extremely messy. It has some of the best moments of the show (that Hey Jude scene being the first that comes to mind), while also having what seem to be by far some of the worst episodes (that same episode is mainly d

I’m really glad they were able to stick the landing. Barry is by far the best show I have been able to watch as it released, and most people who know me know that I won’t shut up about how good it is. It somehow manages to work as this extremely dramatic series and be one of the funniest shows I’ve

Maybe not quite as strong as season one, but still a great show nonetheless. It sorta drags a little in the middle/towards the end, but the season manages to stick the landing and have some great moments along the way. Also, for being a show that gets insanely serious at times, it’s also like insane

Rewatching before the new season. Because of the Great Netflix Futurama Incident of 2017 (and by this I mean, that time Netflix lost the rights but only to the early seasons but then ended up losing the rights to other seasons like two weeks later), I’m not entirely sure I’ve ever seen every single

Started this back in like October 2021 or something but had somehow never gotten past the first four episodes even though I really enjoyed it. It'd been almost a year since I'd seen an episode, and sense the new season was about to start I thought it'd be a good time to watch a recap video of those
