I’m really glad they were able to stick the landing. Barry is by far the best show I have been able to watch as it released, and most people who know me know that I won’t shut up about how good it is. It somehow manages to work as this extremely dramatic series and be one of the funniest shows I’ve ever watched, and there isn’t anything else that does that quite the same way. I’m pretty happy with how it turned out, and though I think they could’ve probably wrapped it up without the time jump, it was an interesting decision and ended up working really well. The last episode feels intentionally underwhelming, but in a way the subversion of expectations is exactly the point. Now I just need Bill Hader to write and direct more. 3>2>4>1
