Reviews for Steins;Gate

My Steins;Gate journey is not over yet, still I must write a few words about this peculiar (in a good way) show. As everyone warned me about a slow start to the season, I was pleasantly surprised at how much I actually enjoyed it right off the bat. Specifically, I have to acknowledge the quirky humo

fantastic time travel show with a very good narrative, and fantastic characters to back it up. like many people have said already it does take a while to get into the real good stuff, but those first 10 episodes are still pretty good, and they are absolutely essential to develop these characters and

Excellent anime, it has food for thought, beautiful art, moments contain funny humor, and the downside is that its visuals are lackluster, although I'm probably the only one who finds fault with this, sometimes the plot just makes me sad, a little limp plot. It’s also worth noting about the episodes

Insane run from the second half. It weaves everything together. Yeah, easily the greatest time travel story I have seen since Dark. From halfway, the storyline is heavenly, each ep from 12 gets better and better, the characters are goated, the plot twists and visuals, everything was captivating to

it starts off slow but once it picks up it doesn’t stop. i don’t love it as much as everyone else but it’s still an amazing show. one of the best endings to an anime as well

This habit of mine "saving the gems for later" is the worst. Imma be on a streak of watching them now Anyways glad i finally gave it a try, exceeded my expectations i think, It just has so much to offer in just 24 episodes. Okabe rintarou; The mad scientist became one of my favorite anime protagonis

Tutturu! Took me a couple of episodes to get into it, but it just got better and better. Peak time travel anime. Also I think this might be even better on a rewatch.

okay look i cannot add the last 2 episodes to this season tbh bc all the work was literally thanks to the other season not that this season is bad or anything its amazing but its no way near the other season and the last 2 episodes were a masterpiece thanks to the other season its a really

"I am mad scientist it’s so cool sonuvabitch" Steins;Gate starts off rather slow, most of the first 12 episode are slice of life episodes from the characters. But this works so damn well because the writing from the characters is simply impeccable, I just loved seeing these characters in their da

Cool anime! I really liked it because I love this style of drawing, a good plot. The first half was interesting and incomprehensible for me, there were twists and turns that were not expected. Then everything seems to start to become clear. Interesting thoughts on time travel. And it seems to me tha

absolutely phenomenal. the first 10 or so eps are pretty slow, but it picks up quickly after that and the wait is so worth it. definitely one of my favorite animes i’ve seen so far! favorite episodes: 1. 21 - Paradox Meltdown 2. 24 - Achievement Point 3. 22 - Being Meltdown

This is my #4 favorite anime Steins; Gate is one of the very few shows that uses time travel and has rules that truly make sense. It establishes what is possible and what isn't very early on, and never leaves those certain parameters. This level of restraint makes the time travel actually make com

Thanks @BenBlah for the recommendation🙏 (mostly spoiler free, minor spoilers are possibly in this review) Bro…. Steins;Gate is a masterpiece of an anime/tv show! I loved this so much, The story, the characters (oh man), the music, animation, humor, emotional moments, towards the end especially, I

🏆90% Emotional and complex. It starts off slow for the first several episodes but then picks up near the midpoint and never stops until the end. I don't think its an anime I can rewatch though, it keeps on gut punching you every chance it gets. 1.) 1x13 - Metaphysics Necrosis = 9.8 2.) 1x12 - Dog

This is without doubt best time travle story in media after dark.. we can say the best time travle anime with great characters and very well written complex plot.. that i was looking for. It doesn't disappoint a bit. Starting 5 episodes were kind of boring and set up the plot.. but after that when t

Steins;Gate is great. It has its boring moments, but everything has a purpose. The first 12 episodes may be slow and uneventful, but they establish the characters flawlessly, and they make us care for them so much, right before dropping a bomb on your head, and providing a devastating second act. An

A show long on my list, and one likely the less you know about the better, we follow the mad scientist Rintarou Okabe, and his ever-growing lab members, as he discovers a means of time travel and reshapes the past and future as we know it. Definitely an insane show, as any involving time travel, I m

This is my second anime I’ve seen, I’ll connect both series as the entire anime because you can’t really watch one without the other, some of the most funniest moments in anime, and some of the saddest.

Ima save my full review after I’ve watched steins gate 0 and the movie and I’ll include them both as one big show, but as of now OG steins gate was fuckin amazing A really slow but necessary first half akin to a fun slice of life, but by the mid way point onward this shit is phenomenal, not complet
