Ooohh this is great, an incredibly well conceived, filmed and structured satire on the struggle between art vs commerce with a brilliant central performance from Seth Rogan who inexplicably manages to stay likeable while portraying an abject coward because Rogan sells every moment of heartbreaking p

“TELL ME NOW! Tell me what to do! Let’s hear it, Boss!”

This was great, felt like a stand alone issue in a regular comic book run.

Very funny but structurally the Homer sub-plot goes nowhere and the ending is a total cop out. In terms of gags these are comedy writers still just about at the top of their game but this episode really shows just how much the show changed for the worse during Mike Scully’s tenure as showrunner, the

The moment where Frazer promises to keep Wilson’s secret at the end of this episode is beautifully performed and surprisingly moving, especially considering La Mesurier’s personal history.

Peggy Mitchell will never not remind of my Nan.

This, my sweet, is a letter from my Solicitor…

One of the most surprising and gripping Eliminators ever! Plus, Cyclone smashed it right out of the gate.

A great start, this first episode felt packed to the gills! I have missed people saying bullshit like “I am 100% faithful” and “that seems like traitor behaviour to me…” so much 🤣

Everyone seems to be having so much fun in this Celeb Special.

Very much an episode of two halves, the first half with Richie and Eddie running the corner shop for the day is top tier stuff, the second half involving sunbathing on the roof less so and feels a bit too proto-Hooligan's Island to me.

The Bill (1984)

S26 E31 · Respect: Part II
That final shot is still lovely stuff.

Groundbreaking. ‘Rogue’ reminded me a lot of ‘Captain Jack Harkness’ from Torchwood (I mean the episodes, but the characters themselves also had a lot of similarities) but this time the kiss was happening pre-watershed, on the main show with the actual Doctor! Love it!

Doctor Who (2024)

S01 E02 · The Devil's Chord
No idea why they didn’t make Devil’s Chord the 1st ep as it was vastly superior to the middling Space Babies but releasing them both together meant that confidence was fully restored by the end! Gatwa and Gibson are a dream team and Jinx Monsoon’s Maestro is a flipping fantastic villain, more of the

As defiantly Larry David as it ever could be.

The Real Ghostbusters (1986)

S01 E07 · Mr. Sandman, Dream Me a Dream
I haven’t watched this show since I was a kid but was getting so many real Ghostbusters vibes from the Frozen Empire trailers I decided to go back and watch a few of the JMS scripted episodes and wtf this show is great?! Winston takes centre stage and gets to be the main hero in the way he never d

The girl identifying as a cat joke was so throwaway and odd especially as Larry seemingly had little problem with it and even tried his best to go along with it and didn’t treat it as a big issue. As soon as it was mentioned I prepared myself for the worst but it turned out to be completely pointles

An episode that makes for a fascinating watch during a time when genocide is literally being committed against Palestinians by Israel.

Rating the new specially shot wraparound material rather than the classic Who story they’re presenting. Brave heart, Tegan.
