Arcane (2021)

S01 E01 · Welcome to the Playground
Yeah, after talking to a friend in-between the last time I watched Arcane and now, I see the writing as a lot more generic than I did before. I'm hoping it'll get better and that maybe these are just starting faults, I'm still invested in Vi and Jinx as characters for sure!

Unfulfilled Juri, more like Unfulfilled Yuri HA I'm so clever c:

Nanami is not like us.

The gag where Nanami kept trying to embarrass Anthy is so stupid it's good.

GAY GAY HOMOSEXUAL GAY

So much happened in 20 minutes, I'm still processing all of it, but I know for sure these bitches are gay. Good for them.

Another solid season! The next two seasons are pretty long from what I've seen so I have a long day ahead of me tomorrow.

Still gets better and better

On par with the first season, if not better than it.

Adventure Time is still peak! It's also really fun seeing all of the little things that lead into bigger storylines or just being outright retconned.

The start of an unusual and beautiful friendship between Finn & Jake and Ice King.

Lady Rainicorn's blood-curdling noises and screams are embedded into my head

This happened to my buddy Marcus (he was a dickhead like the character Marcus in this episode)

The Expanse (2015)

S01 E03 · Remember the Cant
Didn't like this episode as much as the first two, but that cliffhanger with Havelock has me hooked since he's my favorite character so far.

I can really see why Telltale and Deck Nine thought this would be a good choice for a choice-based game. Really liking how the story is developing so far.

Got into this a lot more than I could with the first few chapters of the book. Mainly watching so I have a bit of context and knowledge when going into the upcoming Telltale game, and it's pretty interesting so far.

This episode is so fucking dumb, the only good part of it is Adora's desire to push herself out there as She-Ra and struggling to uphold peoples expectations, but part of that happens because of Perfuma's people being fucking stupid. "You're not She-Ra from the stories. You were supposed to save us

Best episode so far from what I've been rewatching. Entirely focused on Adora and her conflicting over what she wants to be after causing trouble with the rebellion, I really like the idea that Madame Razz knows more than she's letting on, she's very vague when talking to her but alludes to the pre

Still really silly, but I liked this part of the premiere than the first one. Adora isn't incredible or anything, but I think she is somewhat compelling, Catra's downward spiral is now initiated and I can't wait to see her development into a more menacing but mentally unstable antagonist, I can buy

I really enjoy this series, but god, I wish the first few episodes were as strong as the later episodes because some of this dialogue just doesn't hit. Adora and Catra's interactions are the best part of the premiere, while Glimmer and Bow's dialogue (for the most part) feels really silly, especial

Fargo (2014)

S01 E02 · The Rooster Prince
Another strong episode of Fargo! Mr. Wrench and Mr. Numbers introduction and scenes are as unforgetable as their dynamic and score, Molly is hot on the trailer of Nygaard but is told off by the new and less than competant police chief, Bill Oswalt, and we get to see a bit more of what Malvo's job en

Fargo (2014)

S01 E01 · The Crocodile's Dilemma
'Aw jeez, here we go again.' Still of the best premieres for a TV series I've ever seen! I absolutely adore how Noah Hawley translated the idea of Fargo onto the silver screen without losing what made it an entertaining flick while adding a few twists to work that into a ten-episode series. From L
