The shadows of the woodsmen at the convenience store reminded me this time of the victims at Hiroshima and Nagasaki etched into the ground. May not have been intentional, but worthy of some thought. This is still one of the most insane to air on TV episodes of one of the most insane to air on TV sea

Sweeping scene was just an early version of all those satisfying videos like when you power wash something. Also puts you in a meditative, calm state and is a meta commentary to the audience and TV executives because showtime gave Lynch 18 hours to play with that he constantly proves he didn’t “need

Ike the spiiiike

Alright but the punisher scene may have been the best scene since episode 1

No way Rod fucking abbreviated and called the show “TZ” at the end

Dougie Jones is here

James has truly always been cool. Anyone who doesn’t understand I just don’t know what to tell you

Mr C the legend

Excellent atmosphere and score. One of the best episodes in that department. What the fuck was Rod looking at before he started talking about the next episode though?

The Twilight Zone (1959)

S05 E05 · The Last Night of a Jockey
Kind of a budget episode, but still pretty good

A fine episode for most of the runtime, but the final scene absolutely makes it. The courtroom writing didn’t feel up to the level they were at in the first three seasons, so I wasn’t a huge fan of the decision to spend practically the entire episode there. Still, I think it was necessary that we s

My TV kept buffering the whole time, so it got pretty funny trying to figure out when time was actually frozen in the show. This one has a real Twilight Zone ending too.

Season 3 is a really big step up from season 2 in my opinion and concludes or continues all the plotlines that hang over in satisfying ways. It’s so great to finally have Mark and Eve together. They’ve been right for each other all along, and it feels like the series was stringing us along a little

The Twilight Zone (1959)

S05 E03 · Nightmare at 20,000 Feet
What’s great about Twilight Zone is that, while this episode is iconic and one of the most watched of the series for a reason, there are definitely lesser known episodes that I enjoy more. Still a great gateway drug for the series. Also, whenever Rod mentions “Mr. Richard Matheson” writing next week

Had to watch a couple episodes of this for a class so like…if I’m watching it yknow, might as well log it.

Lynch you fucker started all of this by calling Mark Frost at his home and saying “there’s a giant in Cooper’s room.” It sags in those post-reveal episodes, but it’s amazing how the characters keep you hooked even in those dark times (besides James).

Twin Peaks (1990)

S02 E22 · Beyond Life and Death
This aired on fucking network television. With Everybody Loves Raymond.

Should’ve seen more of the Ms Twin Peaks talents. I feel like there would’ve been some good ones

Twin Peaks (1990)

S02 E18 · On the Wings of Love
Gordon Cole!

Do I care that the plot makes very little sense? No Do I care that Jack Klugman shows such depth of human emotion in every closeup for a 30 minute TV show? Yes Glad they went there with the ending.

This season is all over the place. One one hand, I like the longer story arcs for some episodes. I think the Dennis Hopper neonazi episode is one of the best they ever did. It’s when we get into what would normally be a below average Twilight Zone premise that you really feel the weight of the extra

This is actually a fine episode, but thank god it’s over. Shakespeare citing all his own quotes was a little strange, and that cartoonish music was annoying as hell. The Brando parody was great though. So happy to finally be done with this season.
