Okay, disclaimer the show does have its icky moments, as all anime do, but I cannot recommend this show enough. Mushoku tensei is an the best isekai possible. The characters are fully fleshed out, and grow exponentially over the series, and the world-building is immaculate. You won't find this world

Really seems like the guy who wrote this didn't understand how a meritocracy works. Kinda important, especially when the show revolves around this idea. An also whatever the hell happened to the points system, it was dropped almost immediately. Finally, what the hell is with all the awfully written
