I watched this as my second anime. I thought, hey this isn't so bad. Then I realized that I wasn't an edgy 12 year old, and that i was actually an idiot to think this would even qualify as entertainment. No offense to the creator, but I just can't see how anyone could try to make any of the rules set in place seem serious, or even maintain the mood of the god damn show, when the protagonist is able to just walk right through everything, with literally no problem. I bet some fanboys might say "Oh BuT hE sUfFeReD sO mUcH." Or "bro, he literally went comatose." But they are objectively wrong. Never once did Kirito suffer. He died, and then respawned. In the death game where the whole point is not to respawn. Yeah, kinda stupid isn't it. How can the viewer take the show seriously when it doesn't even take ITSELF seriously. And as for the comatose bit, how did that end out? Oh yeah, he was just fine, even lived for a whole 200 years in the god damn VR. How does this even work? The show contradicts itself so much you would think it's a politician? It's an awful show, would never recommend it.
