Okay, disclaimer the show does have its icky moments, as all anime do, but I cannot recommend this show enough. Mushoku tensei is an the best isekai possible. The characters are fully fleshed out, and grow exponentially over the series, and the world-building is immaculate. You won't find this world-building in any other anime I can think of. Rudeus is a very dear character to me, as he is probably the most flawed character I can think of, at least in the beginning, but as things progress, he begins to reform and learn from his mistakes, something relatable to surely all people, in one way or another. One of my top 3 anime and light novels of all time.
