The Sandman adaptation is a profound exploration of humanity through the lens of folklore, history, and religion—a story about stories and the weight of responsibility that accompanies them. Based on Neil Gaiman’s seminal comic series, the show weaves together several of the original arcs, such as “

Kilgrave is officially the creepiest supervillain of all time

It feels so refreshing to rewatch a grounded and gritty superhero show like this in an era where tv is so saturated by crowd-pleasing superhero schlock

S35 E19 · A Subtle Bittersweet Taste of Pudding
an allegory for drug addiction, and then you have a gummy bear fighting a pudding, i love this show so much

8.5/10 Best season so far. Best arc so far. Incredibly underappreciated shonen. Although I'm not gonna lie, the first few episodes did feel like it takes a bit to get going, but when it got going, man, it WENT. A lot of development for characters, especially Yukio, Rin, Shura, and Shiemi. I loved h

8.9/10 A phenomenal final season to a great show and an amazing comic book adaptation. The few changes they made for the show absolutely worked in its favor, and the themes they were tackling here really gets you thinking about your own place on the planet. Robert Downey Jr and his team did a great

8.5/10 JAMES GUNN COOKS AGAIN!!!! Ok I'm not gonna lie, narratively, this is the weakest comic book story he's made so far, and it's very much held down by the episode count. We don't get to see Rick Flag again much after the Clayface episode, despite him being one of the main characters, and we al

8.8/10 I have never played a single Fallout game before, nor am I familiar with the story or the world whatsoever. So initially I was quite apprehensive to like this show because I went in with the highest of expectations considering the hype around it, and the first few episodes were really good b

9.3/10 This show is truly relatable for me on way more levels than I could ever have imagined. Each of the couples represent a different phase in my life and the relationships I have had in the past, and I'm sure its the same for most teenagers going through the years out there. This season, especi

This is the most well cooked superman and lex luthor story i've seen since All Star Superman, and it would be absolutely perfect if Lex's beef was more with Superman than Lois.

There were definitely some pacing issues this season, but I can't believe mortal men wrote this show, how despite combining 3-4 seasons into 2, they still managed to land on all the emotional moments.

this episode did not need to go as hard as it did

This is definitely the most underrated/underappreciated shonen ever, given how much it handles its characters better than most shonen anime out there, and this episode even PROPERLY develops the romance, which is also very rare in shonen anime. I absolutely adore this show, every character makes me

Kamen Rider (1971)

S35 E06 · The Transformation is a Dark Chocolate
I love how raw and brutal this secondary rider debut was, I love how smart and layered Hanto's character is, where he has more motivations for being a rider than just his mom, he's such a fleshed out character, such a contrast from Gotchard, and THE GOCHIZOS ARE SO CUTEE!!

8.5/10 The second half of this season was definitely stronger than the first, and had a lot of emotionally impactful character moments, some of which even almost got me teary eyed, with the icing on the cake that is the epic finale. But that is all in the second half. I'm not saying the first half

Season 2 [Eps 12 to 24] (8.9/10) While the manga kinda killed my enthusiasm with the recent arcs, the anime immediately revived it with just the amazing opening song alone, and with this season adapting my 2 favorite arcs from the manga, it reminded me of why I initially loved the manga so much. Th

8.5/10 This was an amazing show, and I'm really gonna miss these goofy goobers that I followed for the last 12 weeks. Ever since the roof-top scene from episode 1 I labeled this as one of the best of the season and I'm happy to say that it continued to deliver. Well-written, grounded, lovable and r

First Impressions Holy fking shit. What a way to start the show. I was honestly worried I wouldn't enjoy it because gangster stories don't usually get me going, I watched The Godfather, The Irishman and Goodfellas, but I didn't really get a kick out of those. But this one, god damn, it had me inves

This show stands as one of the boldest entries in the Ultraman franchise, offering a stark contrast to the often formulaic structure of its predecessors. What sets this series apart isn’t just its dark, atmospheric tone or the weighty themes it explores, but the depth and intricacy of its characters

9/10 HA NYA NYA FUWAH!! This is one of the most unique and refreshing anime I have ever had the privilege of watching, blending a sci-fi alien invasion gone wrong storyline with slice of life high school girls. It's the type of series that deserves a podcast, full length analysis on characters and

Casually dropped the best type of recap episode, one that doesn't feel like a filler but actually elevates the story and its characters.
