Solid start. I think that they should've expanded on the Blues "influence" on Country music, they made it seem anecdotal when it's quite the opposite.

Minus one particular subplot this was much stronger than I remember it being when I first watched.

This was good, but I found myself struggling to really resonate with it to rate it any higher. Solid performances and script for the most part.

One of the most unique television viewing experiences I've ever had. Idk if 5 stars represents how I feel about the quality exactly, but I'm glad I watched this and experienced it. Sometimes you have to let conventional standards go and live in the moment.
