Reminded me of True Detective S4; and you know how much I hate True Detective S4.

It’s been a pretty slow start so far. No aspects standout as incredible or engaging.

Charlie Hunnam’s acting in these beginning episode has not struck the right chords with me. It feels way caricature and not natural. Also, the gritty “biker” accent feels so forced 😭. I hope he improves immensely moving forward. Otherwise this episode again was just mid. Filler in the first 5 epis

Jax’s moral ground is ambiguous to me. He saves a girl from her abusive boyfriend but then directly attempts to prostitute her.

About a year ago I had a choice between watching SOA and The Shield. I chose The Shield solely off one reason. According to the internet SOA was a way harder watch when it came to content, but so far The Shield seems like the superiorly darker show lol.

Boring

Yeah really boring. I will say idk why people are getting so mad abt the teenage sexuality so far. It’s a pretty realistic portrayal and it’s a major part of Shinji’s character.

Did they accidentally drop this episode earlier? Whatever, I watched it anyways. Why is this season 6 episode? I don’t see how they will wraps this up without it being insanely rushed. Plus the twist this episode didn’t feel earned. Kinda random with no previous intentions of leading to this.
