Yeah, this series is right up my alley. What I really want from comic book adaptations os for them to embrace the crazy fun inherent to the medium and go all in on it. From Robotman chasing after a donkey, cussing it out to Rita extending her eyeball into said donkey to try and peer into the alternate universe within, this episode has no shortage of delightful, absurd fun. Additionally, these characters are just fun to watch. I already enjoy just seeing them interact with each other. Brendan Fraser is so likable as Robotman. Larry Trainor, Rita Farr, Jane and Cyborg are great as well. Alan Tudyk is tremendous as the cuttingly sarcastic villain Mr. Nobody. I absolutely love Doom Patrol.
