What started off as a compelling dystopian mystery that attempted to comment on classism, government surveillance, and institutional lies pretty much left with Rashida Jones at the end of the pilot. Imagine telling us that the government is a spying and lying piece of shit (fact) for nine uneven and bloated episodes, only to reveal in the final minutes that that isn't really the case, and that they're actually just trying to protect people by putting up a fake screen showing a dusty dystopia to cover up an actual dusty dystopia??? Fuck it, I wanna go outside.
