The pilot episode of Silo is one of the best that I’ve ever seen. It hooks you with its core mystery and introduces you to this world without exposition dumping, and the lead performances by David Oyelowo and Rashida Jones are exceptionally moving. If there’s one major issue with this season, it’s t

What started off as a compelling dystopian mystery that attempted to comment on classism, government surveillance, and institutional lies pretty much left with Rashida Jones at the end of the pilot. Imagine telling us that the government is a spying and lying piece of shit (fact) for nine uneven

This is shaping up to be The 100 if it was actually good. And I love The 100

This season had some really great ideas, and I did love the direction it went, but good lord did have incredibly slow pacing that affected the show massively, it should’ve only been 8 episodes at the max Now, I did like both the silo plot and the Juliette plot, the silo plot was great to see the ci

3.5/5 - 3.55 - You know about that? - I know about that. But idk who’d do it and I don’t know why. - I know the who, but I don’t know why, and I don’t fucking care. THATS IT SILO SEASON 2 in a nutshell From and Silo production team really knows how to tease viewers and keep them engaged for sea

An extremely solid Sci-Fi series with a pretty intriguing mystery surrounding the main selling point of the series (The Silo), the Pilot episode is extremely underrated in my eyes and doesn’t get the recognition I think it deserves, I can’t necessarily explain why without getting into spoilers. Recommended Post Apocalyptic Dystopian Series

A step down from season 1. If this season were to be a 1 mile line, the first 8 episodes reached about 1/3 and then the last 2 finished the rest. It dragged like hell for most of it's runtime and only ep 9 and 10 delivered the goods. Nevertheless, it has a really strong season finale and ofc I'm u

This show had a lot of potential, which wasn't fully utilized in this season. If I had to describe it in one sentence, I'd call it a "licorice in a chocolate candy wrapper." The first episode and the finale hold your attention, make you invested in the story, and introduce the mystery/conspiracy. E

rebellions are difficult. rebellions are overdone. rebellions are very hard to write. when done right, a rebellion, especially in an underground bunker, can be some of the most entertaining sci fi tv - sadly that is not really the case here with silo szn 2. simply put, this szn is just VERY SLOW

Unfortunately, the second season was a slight downgrade from the first one. The producers decided to milk the cow for as long as they could. I believe 5 episodes would've been enough to get to the point. I can't even remember what was happening in all these episodes. Basically, the only intense plot

Didn't read the books so i have no idea how faithful this adaptation is. Yet, I'm aware the first 2 seasons are an adaption of the 1st book. 20 episodes seem to much but, as i said before, can't really know without its reading. Nice cinematography and original soundtrack. Most performances are at a

i can’t lie the pacing of this season made me lose interest. at a point it felt like i was being forced to watch it. and the random timing of scenes was annoying me. it would set something and never go back to it, maybe it was just me. but solo really did make up for it. his character was great. the

Great season finale, pretty solid first season. Loved the production design and world-bulding. Rebecca Ferguson was amazing as Juliette. So glad that it will get a second season cause this show has the potential to be one of the most interesting ongoing series.

Season 2 of Silo stretches itself out a little too far, but succeeds in providing the conclusion to suck you right back in. The world is building an expanding, which is hard to believe when the characters you meet are sequestered in a Silo for their whole existence, but there is more out there! The

Created by Graham Yost for AppleTV and based on the novel trilogy of the same name, we follow Juliette Nichols (Rebecca Ferguson), an engineer tasked with maintaining the generator for the Silo, the 144 story pit 10,000 inhabitants live in deep underground. 4/5 Okay now that’s it’s over I have something to say: I think Hank the deputy looks like Star Burns from community 🤩🤷🏼‍♀️ Anyway! Good season but it took a step down from season 1. This show honestly pissed me off a bit! It relies SO heavily on cliffhangers to keep suspense when there are perfec

Love how this show grips you with the suspense right from the first episode in one of the best pilots in recent times and builds on it over the course of the season through the brilliant Rebecca Ferguson. One of the best Orwellian shows I've seen in a long time.

As our world becomes increasingly surveilled, censored and the remaining room for dissent is narrowed down further, the world of Silo doesn’t seem too distant—at the very least there are many parallels to be drawn. Pretty good start, has a lot of familiar dystopian tropes but I’m interested to see

I guess they didn't had much book material for Juliette to portray this season. So, they did what they could. And that gave this season an awkward pace. Next season will adapt the 2nd book of the trilogy in which Juliette barelly appears. But they say it isn't going to be like that in the tv show. W

4.2/5 I don’t have much to say as I’ve been really locking in recently with school and real life. But this show was so good! Y’all know I love my apocalypse stories, my friend was reading the books and he recommend I check out the show since I’m much more of a visual media person. It was really cool

A pretty good first season, I really did enjoy the world building but I just wish it was 2 episodes shorter, k think the pay off was great but just wish we got there sooner. Another thing holding this back was the characters, I think Juliette was a great character, wish they just fleshed her charact
