As our world becomes increasingly surveilled, censored and the remaining room for dissent is narrowed down further, the world of Silo doesn’t seem too distant—at the very least there are many parallels to be drawn. Pretty good start, has a lot of familiar dystopian tropes but I’m interested to see the show’s commentary on class, government control/deception, suppression of dissent and other related themes. Also reminded me of Parasite how it illustrates inequality through elevation—people higher up on the Silo are more powerful and privileged while at the very bottom are the blue collar workers that keep things running. (Based on first 3 episodes)
