This is a very high quality show in a way that seems to elude Netflix constantly. Genuinely feels like a proper A24 production in every way; cinematography, production design, acting, dialog / writing, it's all legit. Steven / Ali are fucking great. The scene where Steven Yeun cries in a church should be studied in theater arts.
Why can't Netflix do more of this kind of thing? Feels like we only get one of these really legit HBO quality shows for every billion dollars Netflix spends
