beef isn't the only meat i'll be enjoying come april (this is about steven yeun btw)

swallowed this whole in one sitting. it’s very rare you get a piece of art that very effortlessly makes you feel so angry over these characters and their seemingly trivial rage and so incredibly empathetic toward them by the end, taking the audience on the same journey as the two main characters. bo

This is exactly the kind of Asian American show I have been waiting for

Current reigning show of the year. Eloquently turns one burst of rage and bad decisions into a myriad of bad decisions based all on choices. So many dominoes are set up and fall here. Oh my gosh. And the MUSIC. Holy Fuck. I just. I just can’t rn

A24, nothing more to say. I take my hat off to this genius 👏🏻

Fucking brilliant. Steven Yeun and Ali Wong were fantastic from start to finish. Starts off as a normal silly comedy but as the show goes on it turns into rather complex storylines for both the lead characters. Supporting characters were great too in supplementing that. The final couple of episodes

they ate down with the casting, performances, and writing and the soundtrack was insane!!! the show perfectly blends humor, excitement, and tension. the hostile chemistry between steven yeun and ali wong was the best part.

typical millennial wednesday

this was a journey and i loved every second

glad this is the one show I managed to finish in the last three months, genre-defying art each titled card is so beautiful I can't it's so well written and the cast does absolute justice to it only a24 could've made netflix release content that doesn't cater to the mainstream audience. okay yeah

let's drive nicer everyone❤️

Asian people will literally just pass down generational trauma instead of going to therapy because that doesn't work on Eastern minds.

This was such an entertaining concept for a miniseries and the whole plot was done perfectly across the 10 episodes. There was not one average episode, it was just entertainment and craziness non-stop. Steven Yeun and Ali Wong were literally perfect too, you could tell they loved it so much 😭. I o

This is a very high quality show in a way that seems to elude Netflix constantly. Genuinely feels like a proper A24 production in every way; cinematography, production design, acting, dialog / writing, it's all legit. Steven / Ali are fucking great. The scene where Steven Yeun cries in a church shou

One of the most boldly confident seasons of television I’ve seen in recent memory. Beef clearly knows the story it’s going for, and creator Lee Sung Jin is uncompromising in letting this story unfold the way he sees fit even if it means taking some huge storytelling risks that don’t always pan out a

One of the best new series of the year. Steven Yeun and Ali Wong delivered such powerful performances that made the show even more captivating. In a perfect world, they’re the frontrunners for the Emmy lead actor & actress. It will also remain one of the top series of the year until the end of 2023

What a crazy show, I’ve never seen anything like it. I’m sure there are probably shows out their similar to this in a way, but it was definitely something very different to what I’m used to. Overall, I thought it was great, not perfect (there’s a few things I didn’t like) but the good easily outwe

“Everything fades, nothing lasts” I was a little hyped going into this show but it really blew me away. We can all be fuelled by rage but this shows the consequences that can be both good and bad in a beautifully dark and comedic way. Steven Yuen and Ali Wong are the fucking best, both of their pe

"We’re all driven by rage. It’s what motivates us to be better or in some cases, worse. Anger can be the thing that keeps us going or what shatters a person’s perception of how you live your life. It’s an undeniable truth that we’re ashamed of but when we’re faced with the cause of our annoyances, w

a good ride, carried by a truly brilliant layered performance by Ali Wong. impressive that they never strayed focus from the two leads but also has a vast supporting cast that felt like they could’ve been leads in their own right
