I have to be honest: for both, the manhwa and drama, I wasn't expecting much when I first read/watched them, respectively . Perhaps because of my previous experience with Hidden Love (manhua & drama), the prequel of the same universe, which I disliked, I developed a bit of a prejudice against The First Frost. I was wrong, of course, for having judged before seeing the perfection that is TFF. The drama is melancholic and sentimental and wonderful all at the same time. I may have enjoyed the drama more than the manhua, I'm afraid. The lead actors act like there's no tomorrow, as if everything the characters went through and felt, they felt in their own skin. Everything is well developed: from the relationship between them to Wen Yi Fan's traumas to how they both deal with it. The First Frost is a show of romance and healing. I loved it.
