Ended up liking this a lot more than I thought I would, mainly due to a fantastic last couple of episodes, some great performances, and a really good score. Gets off to a bit of a rocky start with a nonsensical death and generally uneven writing - especially the Velocity subplot, where employees of a tech company are just killing and kidnapping people left and right; and the bizarre detective character, who basically just says "whelp, that all seems to check out, have a good day!" It really looked like that was going to be the main plotline of the season, but luckily it refocused on Jason and Daniela, who are by far the most compelling characters. Edgerton and Connelly both turn in really great performances, as does Alice Braga as Amanda. The final two episodes took a huge swing and pretty much hit it out of the park as far as I'm concerned, with a twist that was surprising but made (relative) sense, and went into really loopy, dark, and genuinely funny territory, culminating in a very affecting and bittersweet ending.
