It’s easy to think about how much better this could’ve been if Kevin Costner stayed on, because the first half of this season was way stronger then the second. I get Taylor was kinda working with what he had, but there was absolutely no weight or drama going into what is supposed to be the final episode of this whole series. Also why are we calling this a season finale and not a series finale. Are we really getting a season six? I hope not. Just stick to the spin-offs now. I joined this show late, so I don’t know much about it’s glory days. One day I hope to go back and watch the whole thing through. Overall season five took way too long to finish up, and it felt like everyone involved was just ready for it to be over. But at least these characters got the sendoff they deserved.
