7 years after szn 2, ‘happy valley’ comes back for a final szn. it’s easily the second best szn - the plot again wasn’t bad but lacks creativity & its definitely messy sometimes the subplot going on behind the main one was definitely a distraction & didn’t have good pay-off, if anything it could’ve been cut out of the szn entirely. some characters are again just there, & pretty useless, again this szn charlie murphy’s character is so underutilized, given she’s the most popular actress in this show, she’s sort of just there… everything else is okay but the one thing is the lack of music, a subtle soundtrack every once in a while would do just fine the finale & the last 20m of the show were definitely the best part of the szn, & i’m good with how they ended it. but again, nothing special about this, pretty overrated series
