a decent season overall that was severely damaged by the vote to evict option. so many big characters lost their place to characters that overstayed their welcome. lily, khaled and daze should have lasted WAY longer than they did (and made the final) whilst nathan, thomas, segun and sarah shouldn't have even completed half of the journey they did.

ali is a worthy winner based on being as big a character as she was but i'm not keen on how she played it. vilifying khaled for 3 weeks for no reason other than wanting to win rubbed me the wrong way, and is the main reason i couldn't buy into her arc. if only she targeted segun instead as every accusation she threw khaled's way was 100000% right about segun!! but alas...

i really liked a lot of the cast, but unfortunately there were people who ruined the experience overall. nathan and sarah's racism was disgusting, and ali labelling the people of colour a "gang" and "bullies" especially after it was revealed that they grew closer bc of the constant racism was so ... yeah. but overall, it was a good season. khaled vs ali, daze's iconic one liners, lily's screaming, hanah's viral moments, the homegirls... will miss this season eventually but for now i'm so glad it's in the past bc this was EXHAUSTING.
