5-7 and 11-13 are AMAZING arks, drop in quality in 8-10 especially 9-10, if the quality didn’t drop those episodes I would easily take Hannibal szn 3 over szn 1, 3>1 still

They aren't allowed to kill anyone from the books in the series and Chilton needed to be kept alive for the sotl story which was meant to be S4 or 5 but the show got cancelled which is why he was kept alive

Yes and no, yes because I can see where you're coming from, but no because the show expects you to believe they won't die its advertised as being a prequel that leads to sotl with which chilton is a pretty big player but since alot of newer people are seeing the show with no knowledge on the franchise stuff gets misconstrude as the show being scared to kill people off when it can't and the show was made so that the people watching knowing the characters will survive

Also another thing like I said yk how they can't kill him off, when S2 was made they were told it would likely be the last so they wouldn't have had to worry but so they didn't care abt who survived and who didn't but with S3 they had to bring him back (probably why the show never outright showed u any of them dying and still left it so they could survive) I'd personally argue its a fault of S2s for trying to kill him when they shouldn't have, but because people don't have context it's blamed on

S3
