the bear is definitely one of the best shows of all time, even being so so new ... but this season definitely could have been better!! personally, i still loved this season, but the writing definitely did not match up to previous seasons. 1) "i left you alone" "so don't let it happen again" spoiler alert: it happened... season 3 portrayed such a different relationship with syd and carmy than we saw previously... syd who would pull carmy out of panic attacks, who would speak up against carmy, carmy who would listen to syd... wasnt there. like, everything stupid he said she just listened? and didnt call him out? the nonnegotiables list?? and changing her recipes?? and then he ended up leaving her alone again? like bro WHAT happened, they couldnt even hug properly at the restaurant funeral?? #notmycarmy #notmysyd 2) while i love love love the scenes where its just conversations between characters, i feel like so many of these scenes in season 3 were dragged out.. like there were more scenes with the faks just talking than syd and carmy, more scenes of the faks talking than syd overall? it feels like her only scenes included talking to her dad, that small conversation with marcus after the funeral, and then her panic attack. shes supposed to be a MAIN character.. i am seeing characters that bring nothing to the season that should have been groundbreaking character development :/ half of the scenes with the faks or claire couldve been cut to give ayo more screentime or even giving ebrahim a fucking storyline?? like ok. 3) not only was the relationship portrayed differently with sydcarmy.. its the same with the rest of the family... like genuinely i dont understand the writing of this season changing all of the characters and their attitude with carmy.. like natalie in previous seasons didnt let carmen spend his money stupidly but now she just lets him spend thousands on one time use items... what??? why would she do that?? and just everyone taking shit from carmy when hes being stupid over getting a star and "clairebear"... WHERE is the family at? anyways ... even through all this ... i still think it was a good season, but definitely the worst out of the three :/ and the ending definitely put a poor taste in my mouth after such a creative first episode, and having to wait another year for a "to be continued"... i just want to see my family happy!! i love the bear so so so so much i just want some plot back... is that so hard....... 🐻
