Reviews for The Bear

This season was interesting, whilst there were some really amazing standalone episodes, the season as a whole felt a little directionless, like each other season had a very clear goal while this one was “make the restaurant good” I guess. Carmy didn’t really evolve much as a character I feel, neith

Probably the weakest season of The Bear yet. It really drags its heels in regard to all of its major characters' storylines, none of which really feel substantial enough to last a whole season, and then they have the audacity to resolve basically none of them and leave it hanging for a fourth season

It's a masterpiece and that's my one and only nonnegotiable. 2024 seasons ranked: https://srlzd.com/l/24237

A departure from the high-heat dishes served during the first and second courses, this third course was marinated overnight, cooked in low heat, simmered for five hours, ready to explode in our mouths. The Bear continues to simultaneously be a celebration of life through food and family, as well as

The most “okay girl” season of television ever

Some episodes with great directing and editing. Others with some great dialogues. All with great acting. The plot needed to be a lil more worked, maybe... And I really would like S4 to be the last one and close the series with a memorable season, with a great plot.

Hmmmm I really dont know how to feel about this season. To be honest nothing much really happened. The plot really goes nowhere. I still do like the editing and acting of course but really the feeling of this show was missing could maybe be because of the a lot fewer cooking scenes too. In my opini

2024 Ranked - #5 as of rn (4/5) - 4.2 Ultimate Tv Shows: My Definitive Rankings - #16 I've said it before, I'll say it again: this show is all heart. I mean goosebumps. Everywhere. In typical Bear fashion, this show is still not afraid to take massive risks. Or leave us with massive surprises (inc

This just didn’t hit for me, it’s not particularly bad or offensive. I think it’s just a victim of its own success, the Bear set a humongous standard for the quality of its tv production, with two let’s face it, great seasons. I think the hype for this third one, was maybe a little too much for it.

The general consensus for this season seems to revolve around its stagnant plot. I can't say I disagree with this statement as, objectively, the story didn't move forward. But it doesn't necessarily mean a bad thing. The set-up is needed. The character progression is essential. This season also ble

several pieces were done better in previous seasons, so definitely not the strongest season. but still loved to see the focus on the characters. this show just reminds me that i won’t cook a day in my life. it’s always great to see them all put some great performances. my dear ayo you are doing phen

"The Bear" Season 3, solidifies the series' reputation as a standout in contemporary television, delivering a compelling mix of high-stakes drama and deep character exploration. The season follows Carmy (Jeremy Allen White) and his team as they navigate the relentless pressures of the restaurant ind

after two great seasons, especially the incredible second season i had really high hopes, didn't really match my high hopes. the pacing felt off, the focus felt muddled. a lot felt repetitive, some characters were just unnecessary and others that i wanted to see more of were pushed off to the sideli

I don’t think this deserves all the hate it’s getting but it is a flawed season for sure. It just felt like it was missing something. Season 2 balanced character and plot development really well whereas this season totally focused on characters and I don’t think it worked as well. I still do think t

Not a good season. Has a few good episodes like 3x1, 3x6 and 3x8, but overall a terribly paced, terribly slow, terribly dragged out, and terribly unfulfilling season of television. The fak brothers were extremely annoying this season and were overused beyond belief. The overall plot of this season i

This season felt very different it felt more character focused which was great but I was hoping they would give us more scenes in the kitchen. A little disappointed but still a great season just . Next show I’ll be watching is The Leftovers I’ve seen the pilot yesterday so I’ll log that rn. Season

Will I get killed if I said this season was a bit underwhelming…

They better not fumble this shit.

not necessarily the best season but it had this swirl of anxiety and calm that takes major skill. sure, its an underlying purpose throughout the entire show, but I think this one in particular moved us at a different pace without it feeling off-putting. it sped up some aspects, but had us sit with c

I completely understand why so many people are saying this feels like half a season & to an extent, I do agree. One of my biggest issues with it is that it constantly recycles so many old clips from S2 to try and compensate for how unoriginal several plotlines or entire episodes are. It has a big pr

I think that both previous seasons were slightly better, mainly because this one as a whole didn't pleased me as much as the others, I felt that this one had some really good separated moments and episodes, but not so great as the others, generally speaking. But, for sure, it's still a great TV sho
