a much more low simmered season after two high boil over flowing ones also maybe the most depressing season so far? but def its weakest season and i was left somewhat underwhelmed/wanting more but that doesn't mean i think its bad i still throughly enjoyed it(watched it in one sitting 🫣)and seemed to have liked it more than others and i do feel ppl are being a tad dramatic abt its quality(soz) the thing is w the bear is even in its worst season its better than 99% of tv rn(there's one other show ive watched this year i would rank higher on quality) but on the flip side it being so excellent means the drop can be more obvious. it def was a weird season every season of the show has had a different dynamic which i enjoy but this felt unusually different but but i dont think its inherently bad it's clear they're finding their groove in the kitchen their dynamic is completely different so seeing it depicted makes sense to me it did absolutely feel like a filler season and i was under the impression they'd filmed this w s4 so we'd be getting that sooner so i didnt mind so much but they didn't so leaving a year between what effectively is a 3a is a choice i enjoyed fak in the first seasons but omg i've had enough of them!!! i’m a claire defender and ironically she only had like 2 scenes this season but the way they used her as a constant convo subject was just Odd i also had mixed feelings on sydney's storyline love seeing her do her own thing but i want her to stay also that cdc guy is weird to me carmy also pissed me off but he kinda does every season lol onto what i loved was sooo glad to see more mother olivia and will as well as sarah ramos who is so underrated(looking forward to the chef jess richie romance) i’m so glad we got tina's backstory it was a highlight ep and ayo did so well directing! also seeing more of mickeys backstory too ik ppl find the cameos gimmicky now(they kinda are) but i still enjoy them sugar ilysm and i hate that this show gives jlc such good stuff like ive never seen her be good in anything else and it annoys me how good her eps how and how much i enjoy them eps 1,3,6,8 were my favs i also liked the finale esp the party scenes unlike others i do find the show thrives on its slower moments so i will never complain abt eps like 1 or even a slower season this felt like a much more i’m hoping once the shows all wrapped up the filler season will have evened itself out i think i hope s4 will be the last it seems like it will be and i do feel like a lower and slower season will work as a good intro to what will no doubt be an incredibly fast paced high heat final season
