Holy shit man. I love this show so much. One thing this episode made me realise is something that makes this show so great, the way it can humanise characters who have done such terrible things and were responsible for such a social impact in the world. It does nothing to portray any character as worse than any other, Teddy is not the movement that Anton despises, neither is Franklin. I think that cold open was also an excellent choice since before then we'd never seen Anton raising Franklin, you can truly see how much independence he instilled within him and how it ended up not turning his way. 

The other really interesting decision they took with this episode is how much the family fractures. In just about every way, Franklin's drive has torn apart his family until it's only them left, not only showing the underlying theme of loyalty that we see with every storyline this season but furthering Franklin's path to lose the things and people he loves. That final scene with Melody was such a great detail too, cane Franklin is such a memorable aspect of the season that makes it distinct from the rest of the show and it's a beautifully symbolic detail to leave it with the person who caused it in the first place. So many memorable scenes and gorgeous conclusions, best of all for Anton who was truly elevated as a character solely from this episode for me.
