Season two is a big step up from season one, and you can see they are really finding the direction the show wants to go in. A lot of corse correction in the first half of the season, trying to tweak some characters to make them more unique and all fit together as a cast. I think Leslie has the biggest change/improvement. The first season she overly enthusiastic nepo baby who is not good at her job and it was as not fun to watch, she felt like the wacky one while everyone else was the strait man. In this season she is shown to actually be good at her job, which makes to show so much more enjoyable to watch, before it was almost sad seeing someone with so much passion not being able to do anything and watching her dreams die. And she’s not the only wacky one anymore, they toned that down and added it to some other characters making the show feel more balanced and fun. This season the show starts to step out of The Office’s shadow and become something new and different, which brings us to the start of season 3.
