Wow! I can’t believe it’s been over a year of watching The Walking Dead. I didn’t start tracking and ranking my episodes until around season 9 so it’s hard for me to remember and rank the elite seasons and episodes in the early half of the show.

This show captivated me for many seasons in a row and I personally loved that I got into it.

With one of the best pilots of all time, the show is catapulted into a fantastic post-apocalyptic zombie scene. I thoroughly enjoyed seasons 1-6 and found that it was during this time when the show felt the most bingeable.

With that being said, the show takes a serious and saddening downhill streak from these previous seasons. Near the end I started getting really burnt out from watching but after a long pause, I found myself wanting to finish it.

Ratings:

After a hard thought I’m rating the complete TWD series a 4.2/5 which is a max 4 star for me. Although the first half was amazingly peak the downfall was pretty bad and lasted a long time.

CGI: 7/10 (there are some really bad cgi parts in there especially the deer💀)

Acting: 8/10 (fantastic acting at points with a mean of an 8/10 but a heavy portion of mid-bad acting towards the end)

Plot: 9/10 (absolutely love the story and even with the downhills in the later half the first 6 seasons are fantastic)

Character development: 9/10
