A great season even tho the second half CARRIES like crazy The decision to focus more on Mel’s dad and his relationship with Franklin was fantastic, from his POV we see how Franklin can be seen as the bad guy. Franklin is so caught up in his pride and greed he doesn’t stop and look around to see how much he is poisoning his community and the people he loves. He just turns a blind eye and lies to himself that he’s doing it for a greater and better cause. No matter how much rock he sells and how much power he gains he won’t be able to stop the constant build up of guilt. Franklin will soon learn his excuses for his behaviour will catch up to him. What if next time the person he affects isn’t Mel or Andre but someone he can’t afford to lose.
