This show has improved yet again, I think S2 is more consistent but the back half of this season offered some incredible episodes and moments for the main storyline. Franklin has been not just a captivating protagonist who’s been great every season but he’s been a very intriguing character study as well. Biggest question going into this season was if Gustavo survived what would they do with his character and they ended up giving him less screen time still being an important piece to the central storyline, but he was much more captivating and didn’t feel useless and bland. You really don’t get a lot of the uninteresting side plots this season that disrupts the pacing of the show. This season thematically was very strong with it enforcing the central talking points and ideas expressed through this show with mixing in history. Visually this season was striking and the direction and camerawork brought this show to new heights because of how immersive it was, offering two incredible episodes. I do feel at times this season that philosophies of some characters feel a bit contradictory at times and i feel sone characters just haven't been that compelling so far. at times this season can be both unpredictable and predictable. Wasn't a fan of the approach they took with the finale, it was lackluster and underwhelming. Overall, i do think this is the best season so far and I'm excited for S4!!!
