This series never really leans into either the legal thriller nor mystery that it initially seems to promise delivering. Neither of the lead characters were very compelling either, which didn’t help; Ingrid was frustrating and Webster wasn’t intimidating or nuanced enough. Overall, felt extremely ha

While Kate Winslet is great as always and attempts to carry this subpar political satire piece on her back, the fact that this sort of thing has been done one too many times semi-recently doesn’t aid that it’s tonally confused and messily written, failing to capture any significant interest.

Thought this would be Only Murders in the Building or Knives Out-esque, but despite being flamboyant and containing notes of comedy, it’s not really one. Feels like a been there-done that version of various murder mystery projects. Tonally confused, too slow and quick to bore, and the characters lac

An underwhelming albeit well-acted miniseries that fails to impress within a crowded genre. Mostly a character study rather than a suspenseful crime-mystery.

A very average crime-mystery that just fell flat with a rather predictable ending. Quite skippable.

Neither narratively fresh nor visually striking, this psychological thriller adaptation fails to captivate major interest and ends up getting completely lost within a crowded genre.

The first season presented a solid piece of psychological mystery-horror that offered many chills and intrigue, but the second season was a bizarre mess, while the third season was also questionable and provided a poorly written finale with many incomplete arcs to an originally promising series. If

I was excited for this because it sounded like an interesting fantasy-horror piece, but it was a disappointment. Started off promising, but gradually lost itself and became a poorly paced, muddled, confusing mess. The finale raised more questions than answered them, and ended on a wtf cliffhanger.

Could’ve been a cute and charming rom-com, and the leads do have decent chemistry despite not physically meeting for much of the show, but it starts off way too slow and never really picks up, so I got bored of it and had a hard time finishing it.

A super formulaic action-comedy that doesn’t feature enough good action or enough good comedy. Could’ve been condensed into a movie, would only watch if you’re an Arnold fan.

A ghost revenge story that’s poorly written and paced, and felt like a waste of time despite being only 4 episodes.

Already bogged down due to the inevitable comparison to the original, but I still went in with a open mind. However, feels like they wasted potential to make a worthwhile remake. It’s also poorly paced, and the murder mystery embedded within it seemed to make it original, but the reveal was disappoi

I was excited for this because I enjoy sci-fi psychological thrillers and the series it’s based on is written by Hugh Howey, the author of Silo, which was one of the best new shows of 2023. However, this one moves too slowly, feels aimlessly written, has underdeveloped characters, and overall fails

Had potential for a sinister folk horror watch, but ended up being dull and predictable, and was overall messily written and poorly paced. Samantha Morton is great though.
