At the end of the day this show isn’t about the mother. Despite the title and many fans’ seething hatred of the finale, How I Met Your Mother is about the journey not the destination. The heart of the show is the titular friend group of 5 navigating the adventure of their 20s and 30s together. —-

One of Netflix’s best original series. Most people write off this show as teen fluff garbage and I’m not saying it never dabbles in that, but Never Have I Ever has so much heart. Even as someone who enjoys romance and boy drama like no other, family and friendship was always the highlight for me.
