I needed some joy this weekend

My childhood was wallpapered in reruns of this

When the crime only gets solved because people can't stop yapping to Pip. Never has an adaptation so perfectly matched the story but also the exact vibe and quality of the book. The only thing holding the series back is its short runtime of only 6 episodes. I wish it was at least 8 and gave Pip so

I stand by all my prior critiques, but honestly this grows on me a bit more each time I watch it. It's like a sick addiction where I love it but also hate it. It will be my hate/watch for a while.

I think it's really nice that fans got to have a true "beat-for-beat" adaptation after what the movies did. I also think it's really funny that people still find ways to be mad and it is usually just being mad at literal children.

no one: philomena cunk: pump up the jam, pump it up

So spotty, but great in moments. The expansion of character was really well done on some fronts, but scatter-brained in others. While I understand the Christmas flashback episode’s intent, I found exhausting and unnecessary. There was little need for it on learning about any other characters and it

Sometimes animated shows for kids are just what adult me needs.

Watched with my dad and stand by my previous ratings. It does feel like a prequel and I am so glad season 2 delivered something that felt very polished and big.

I know there is a grand scheme to things, but this season felt 50 - filler and trying to figure out who these people are again and 50 - setting up a finale season. The direction, cinematography and acting were as good as usual but the story felt flat compared to what we have come to see from this sh

Sex Education meets Heartstopper. Netflix has found their niche for high school shows and it’s heartfelt and very queer. I will protect Quinni with all my heart!

What was a wonderful little show is still very much that. I got a little worried in the first half that it was derailing by bringing too many things, but it settled in its second half into what they established so well in its first season. It was a bit predictable and was not quite as spunky as it c

While the format is no longer original, this was a well executed comedic variation. They pushed it a bit too much on some of the mystery aspects and left a lot to character which I think was the right move, especially when you have such good performers.

Whereas this format was better lent to translating the story of The Vampires, the film was better at encapsulating the filmmaking passion. Ultimately this was a very interesting character piece that felt cathartic for people who have a passion for the art of film and television but it also isolates

This shows pacing is all over the place and I will never not be angry about what it could have been. It all feels like a poorly done prequel so maybe the second season will find its footing.

If you have ever wanted to learn more about Mormonism while also hating it more than this is for you! It is also just like fairly boring despite having some really great actors doing some good work. It drags on a decent story into too long and with too many on-the-nose parallels to the origins of Mo

Okay, this show is still one of the best superhero properties running right now and it is a great satire, but it is also one of the most tiring things to watch. I am slowly losing all of my love for any characters that I have previously connected with and the over-the-top violence and sex is the onl

Very cat-chy. This was weird. I liked it. But it was odd. Some odd meandering with the plot and some characterization was left to be desired but ultimately it was a good balance of horror imagery and an interesting exploration of the industry and a character that I wish was fleshed out more.

Funny but not like haha funny, funny like the nervous laughter that comes with realizing you’re fucked.

This got better this season. It focused on clear issues that were not too out of pocket and worked on character growth and it really helped.

The addition of the boys was really interesting, but I think the show lost some magic with both their introduction and a shorter season. The pacing seemed odd. I never really connected with any of the boys, and I found myself missing some characters that I had grown to love. All that being said, thi

This show is kinda fun and really made for someone a little older than me. I related to some of it, but I think it would resonate better with someone in a similar position of romantic entanglement. Her life is messy and that is fun to watch. The use of audience is well done and I love the soundtrack

This was fun. I do think that it is catered to people who have played D&D and watched Critical Role but I thought it was really well done. The animation is amazing however I do with the adult animation genre was less invested in the shock value of gore and sexual references.

It’s just Star Wars. Like there isn’t much that is special. It had nice moments, even nice episodes, but it’s just bounty hunter Star Wars.
