This might just be a top ten all time for me. This had just about everything I could possibly want. One thing is for absolutely sure: severance knows finales.

There’s 4 more episodes left, Serializd doesn’t have em on here for some reason (and I legit contacted the higher ups to try to fix this lol) so I guess I’ll wait to review the season + series after watching those. not great, it was pretty obvious who the killer was and most of this episode felt quite messy. that detective divo guy has the strangest face ever, his forehead is so fucking massive and yet he still couldn't work out who the killer was.

This is just a beautiful season of TV. It was so satisfying seeing Hart and Cohle find some common ground after all this time. And that ending was shocking, the man with the scars is finally revealed. Cohle may be one of my favorite tv characters and it’s only 8 episodes💀

I know I said that the basement might be my highest 4.5 but this is definitely it.

Damn. This whole show is fucked up, but this one is fucked up on a whole new level? One of the best backstory episodes I've ever seen. If they can keep that quality up, I will probably add this show to my 5 favourites.
