Pirates?? Gay??? It doesn't get much better than this. I'm not gonna lie, the first few episodes are a bit slow, but it's so worth it overall.

This show can't seem to find its footing, even after three seasons. It can't decide if it wants to be serious when dealing with the character's issues, or just completely contrived. I'm also salty that it finally gave us some sapphic representation, only for it to get the least amount of development

As desperate as I am for any sapphic content, this was not it. The writing was awful and the acting was sub par. I'm not even mad that it was cancelled. It just wasn't good, and not even in a so-bad-it's-good way.
