Overall a stronger package than Tales of the Jedi. The Barriss stuff is way more compelling than the Morgan stuff, and I truthfully wish the entire series was just about here. But the Morgan stuff packed a little more punch than the Ahsoka stuff from tales of the Jedi.
Good & breezy watch.
I think thus far in my Netflix re watch binge, this has been the biggest surprise. For context, I haven’t seen this since it released and I mostly just remember it being okay. But this really took me off guard.
This show fucking rips. Performances across the board are fantastic, beautiful visuals.
It’s nowhere near as bad as many make it out to be. Far more compelling and endearing than many of the recent shows marvel has put out. Despite its many flaws.
When Jecki ignited the second saber… welcome back Ahsoka Tano.
The action packed shock value episode came and it was the best so far, the fight choreographies were fantastic, I love how fast they all moved and didn’t look stiff and tasteless like in Ahsoka.
A lot happened this episode, it’s a
star wars is so obsessed with the idea of backstories as nothing more than wiki pages that i've honestly forgotten what it looks like when withholding information can serve the story in this franchise. even in andor, its most compelling characters didn't need backstories to be compelling. if you wan

oh my god i finally breathed a sigh of relief only to realize it had only been 20 minutes. i feel sick to my stomach. this story was written by evil psychopaths.
best superhero show in years.
One of the most gripping pilots I’ve seen in a while. Striking visuals, great performances (HIROYUKI SANADA MY GOAT), and a great story; Shogun has the potential to be the next great tv historical epic. Also Richard from Lost showed up so you know it’s goated.
This shit was insane, so beautifully directed, so epic, emotional and exciting, we are si back if only everything had this level of quality cause man it’s just so interesting and crazy and man I really loved it.
the most terrifying part of the alternate universe we see at the beginning is the fact that mark can say his superhero name without being interrupted by the title card
those fakeouts got me every single time
i’ve made it known that for the last two years i’ve been a diehard sylvie defender but i cannot endorse her actions this week
