Squid Game (2021)

S03 E02 · The Starry Night
One of the better episodes, and a hell of a guttural cry at the end. Thank god the Shaman is dead, I can rest easy no matter the outcome now.

Two chocolate men shoot Wishiwashi. Glotta fight scene steals the show.

Kamen Rider (1971)

S11 E10 · Silver Points and Lines
It's really fun trying to guess what mysteries/secrets last the entire season and what gets revealed early. I honestly thought some of the secrets revealed to other characters in this episode would take longer.

I started watching Sentai with boonboomger, but i wanted to dive into the backlog in between episodes, so I chose to start with Jetman. This show is rad. Great characters, memorable villains, fulfilling character arcs, drama, good monster of the week episodes. It really does it all. My only compla

Listen, if I had a favorite spaghetti spot and they stopped serving spaghetti, I would let my inner bear out. I like a good sloppy cheap burger and the best and cheapest one near me is at a Chinese place, so I get it. Anyway this is really good, can't believe I didn't hear about it until recently.

Kamen Rider (1971)

S07 E01 · The Remodeled Human's Great Transformation for the Planet
This is just off vibes, but this feels lower budget than last season. Which is fine, because the actual premise is interesting. Henry is a pretty fun character and the actor is extremely expressive and memorable. Solid pilot all around.

Kamen Rider (1971)

S06 E54 · Farewell, Tsukuba Hiroshi! Eight Heroes Forever....
All the shows before this honestly had pretty lackluster finales. I don't think this one is amazing, but it certainly is the best of the bunch up to this point. Showa Rider is primarily a bunch of unimportant monster of the week stuff, but long term we remember each season for episodes like this 3 e

Kamen Rider (1971)

S06 E02 · Bizarre! Spidern Man
Storytelling this episode trumps the storytelling of your average episode from previous seasons. It's not anything crazy impressive, but they got the pacing and methodology down to a science at this point.

Kamen Rider (1971)

S05 E30 · Goodbye, Tackle! Her Last Activity!!
"I wasn't strong enough!"

Kamen Rider (1971)

S05 E17 · Ghost Story: The Demonic Easter
This episode fucking rules. Monsters in suits, goofy evil christian imagery, great main monster design, the return of favorite, motor cycle stunts (in my Kamen Rider???), and a henshin on top of a moving car.

Kamen Rider (1971)

S04 E05 · The Weirdo Who Came From Underground!!
This episode is honestly peak. It's got the goofy recap, a great monster design, Amazon learning to distrust cops, jungle man in the city jungle, and iconic beach shots.

I love Donny's Dad.

The slapstick comedy in this episode was golden. I would be pissed at the ending if I wasn't binging this after multiple seasons were already out.

Obviously an incredible episode, both in execution and reveals.

It's really funny that I went into this show expecting it to treat the "vault experience" like an obligatory origin story, and here it is just absolutely stealing the show.

Maximus is 3 for 3 on getting his nose caved in. Can't wait to see where the rest of the series is heading.

Oh my god it's actually good. Really happy with the overall presentation of the world/lore, and the main characters are all interesting.

Captures the essence and magic of One Piece in the right way. A live action adaptation of something as cartoonish and long as One Piece will never be perfect, but I think the showrunners here ultimately made the right truncating decisions and did a fantastic job; a rarity for live action anime adapt
