Every twist and character decision of this episode is telegraphed too obviously to make any of them have any big impact. Glad to get some backstory though.

I liked this episode a lot more than the first in terms of showcasing why the characters are there. I think I just needed to come up for air from the protagonist's specific plight.

Better late than never, right? Got to admit it took me a couple attempts to get through the first 20~ minutes of this pilot. Not because it's bad, far from it, but I just get so uncomfortable watching a main character like this in this sort of situation. Obviously I've taken in a lot of this shows

And a new story begins! The police procedural days are over, and so are the men-in-suits monsters. Not particularly enamored with anything straight out of the gate. It is very different from Kuuga/Agito, so I'm excited to see how this carves a more unique identity for itself. Vent done.

For context I am marathoning all of Rider in order. Kuuga was so nice we made it twice. I spent most of Kuuga wishing the cop character could become a Rider, and here we are with my dreams being realized in the very next season. Agito is the first heisei season to feature multiple Rider protagonist

Glotta got them vibes. I think this is the weakest episode and fight scene so far, but the character interactions are fun, and I can't wait for next week.

A new season! Shooting bowling balls, forbidden fidget cubes, a funny trumpet overhead shot, re-limbing trees, and an entire evil group of King from Tekken. The pacing is snappier (for better and worse) than Kuuga. Amnesiac boy is our spiritual successor to Godai, and the new cop the same for Ichi

Talk about tonal whiplash from the previous season, much goofier. The villain designs are really rad and I like their ship. The new rider design is pretty good as well.

I like Boon Violet superficially enough. His controller is super lame though.

I was getting decision paralysis on where to start with Super Sentai, so figured I would start with the latest season. I like the tire heads.

I liked the fight with the new head villain, and the monster design this week (robo-gorilla) is very fun. His power is hitting the ground really hard and causing earthquakes. This episode is a return to the cartoonish villainy reminiscent of the first couple seasons where Shocker is goofy. Not that

The two armlets connecting are a bit goofy. A standard Showa series finisher with a little bit of silly dismemberment. I would say I wish the ending was stronger, but I'll get my fill of that next season.

The mole was salivating at the thought of consuming human flesh. He's just a goofy lil' guy with a flower snoot. Half way done.

Nightmare on Elm Street with a snail

This was a lot better than the first couple episodes.

I thought the introduction was little weak, and it took me a while to get attached to the characters, but I came to find myself enjoying the first season a lot. Second half is way better than the first though. Onward to the next season.

Well this was certainly the best episode so far. Actually getting a glimpse of the tech/alien wonder, and obviously the ship scene is neat. Don't teach aliens metaphors.

Wasn't expecting the chicken fucker to be selling ghoul oil instead of snake oil. Not really sure how I feel about the kiss. I definitely think this is a little bit weaker for the back half of the series, but not by much. Hopefully the build up of various things pay off next episode.
