I haven’t been logging this show for whatever reason but man do I love it. I think this episode is just so powerful. Sure the show is very direct about its themes but man I think it’s honestly so helpful. It feels like a friend just like the characters shown on screen. It hurts but it’s so warm. Har

I feel like it would be a 4.5 if I didn’t take so long to get to watch the finale because that kinda hurt the tension. I also think the conclusion to one character felt kinda lazy. Awesome stuff nonetheless

I think it’s heading in the right direction. I think as normal for Gunn the team dynamic is good. And I think there are different enough relationships where at least it isn’t too derivative in content as Gunn’s other stuff. It’s mostly just the formula that is a bit too familiar.

Goes by too fast. I think an extra 5-10 minutes to ease us into the story would’ve worked better. And it obviously is a very familiar kind of James Gunn story. Still, the animation is cool and Frank Grillo kills it. And the fight with him at the end helps sell the episode

This show is put together quite nicely for something from the MCU and Tom Hiddleston remains to be one of the best things about this universe. The finale here rocks too.
