I have to knock a couple of stars down because it was slow to start but I think I mostly dug this. I wish it didn't fall into the typical television-streaming-show pattern of having two very loosely connected storylines happening at the same time but they both end somewhat satisfyingly. Sorry for th

This season was up there with the worst of DIS. Just an absolute nonsensical train wreck from beginning to end. I feel like you would show this season to someone who is a fan of old Star Trek (Roddenberry/Berman eras) and is still incredulous over the reputation Kurtzman/Goldsman/Lumet-trek has. It

Perfectly serviceable television but the liberal assertions here (POCs can be spooks too!) did grate on me quite a bit I won't lie. I laughed at the setup for season 2 taking place in the last 5 minutes of the finale but hey, in the very slim chance that HBODISCOVERYMAXPLUSTV decides to renew it, I'

What a joy. The last season was kind of hit or miss but it's better than most shows that have one off reunions. Ken Marino's comedic timing is second to none and Megan Mullally is so good at delivering uncomfortably funny one-liners. All that being said, it's kind of crazy that Adam Scott made a who

Just didn't have the same inanity as the earlier seasons or even the higher stakes. There were too many contrivances (which is not surprising because the whole premise of this season is Joe going back to New York for some reason so it could all come full circle which is ???) and the new characters t

I'm happy to say that the second season lives up to the high standard the first season set. It's pretty remarkable that I wouldn't even say this is pretty good for a Star Wars show because on its own merits it works incredibly well. Every sub plot and storyline weave into each other without feeling

This sucked. It was shot like a fan film and had a fan film premise. It was really hard for me to care about any of the new characters here (Muse is fucking awful) and the constant mirroring between Daredevil and Kingpin became tedious. "Are Daredevil and Kingpin really firm in their convictions or

I mean, it's fine for the most part. The Russian nesting doll ass conspiracy that unfolds over the course of each episode becomes especially tedious towards the end, and the action leaves a lot to be desired but you know, I couldn't bring myself to hate it. Always nice to see Ah Sahm and when he and

Liked this season more than the last one. Idk man Reacher is exactly the kind of pulp-y shit I appreciate and somehow the gross Amazon Prime "sheen" over it doesn't detract from its quality. I really hope the next one is as good as this one.

I can see why people dug this season but I think it suffers from reverse Lost Syndrome. They explain too much of the mystery, and like Lost, it loses a lot of its intrigue. I wish they maintained some of the mystery, but if I'm alive in 80 years for the premiere of season 3 I'll be watching.

Entertaining spy comedy drama that doesn't try to test your patience through constant ass-pulling or meandering episodes wherein the plot progresses in the last 10 minutes. Apple TV really might be the only streaming service I would subscribe to if my hand was forced.

They need to stop adapting these fucking awful Amazon best sellers.

Really the only thing on Apple TV Plus Flix Video that's worth watching.

I really can't think of a show that was this adversely affected by the semi-frequent change in showrunners. The Davies era wasn't perfect but I appreciate that he never betrayed the fact that Doctor Who is, at the face of it, a science fiction drama show. Sure maybe it was clunky at some parts (look

Really got the tone right for this show cause if it was another serious and dour show like Stranger then it would be incongruent. My only complaint is that it does meander a bit but it's fine, it didn't lose me when it was sort of drifting by.

Stellar drama with likeable characters and fascinating twists and turns. Highly recommend.

Never good when a season of television like this could have been truncated in half. The ending almost makes it worth it though.

The fulsome praise confuses me cause the show is kind of shitty? I mean on its surface it does everything that a decent show should do narratively but it just falls flat on its face. Dropped plots, predictable outlines, and characters that are ostensibly "good" being more unsympathetic than the anta

Not bad just kind of boring. I heard that it falls off in the subsequent seasons so I won't be watching any further.

Perfectly fine television

Third season was a bit slow and aimless but managed to tie it all together towards the end. Out of all the True Detective rip offs that came in its wake this one has impressed me the most because it really felt like a tried and true character study and not just "these characters are damaged and fuck

The perfect distillation of prestige tv shows on streaming services. I wouldn't go so far as to say that it was meandering the entire time as there was some progress in the story, the thing is is that everything that happened on this show was so boring that it rendered it as nothing ever happening.

Kind of crazy that Dick Wolf was involved in a show like this where it seemed like they were pushing the envelope for the time. Sucks to see someone who is capable of making good TV transition to boomer television your parents watch.
