Taskmaster (2015)

S19 E10 · The Clever Side?
I'm sad it's over but happy it happened. I love this cast so much, this season was so fun.

Solid Cabot Cove episode. I appreciated that the motivations for the murder weren't at all what we thought through the beginning of the episode. Made it more interesting.

I don't think I stopped laughing once in the entire last 10-15 minutes.

I don't get why they put the Jessica-lite episodes right after each other. The last one was better. But Jack is a very good dog.

I'll be so sad when this season is over it's been so much fun.

Smartypants (2024)

S02 E09 · Uniforms, Therapy, Reboots
I fully support Demi and Alexis Nikole's visions in particular. Less sold on the uniforms, especially because that shade of green doesn't suit me.

Bewitched (1964)

S05 E18 · Samantha the Bard
Seriously fantastic episode, very funny.

Robert Vaughn really had a thing for being on boats when there was crime on tv didn't he.

Murder, She Wrote (1984)

S06 E02 · Seal of the Confessional
Honestly can't say I expected that. Impressive storytelling really and actually more compelling than the Hitchcock movie it's inspired by.

Murder, She Wrote (1984)

S06 E01 · Appointment in Athens
Jessica and spy shenanigans with a side of murder. It never gets old and it's a great way to start a new season.

Murder, She Wrote (1984)

S05 E21 · Mirror, Mirror, On the Wall (1)
Jean Simmons and a cameo from the guy who played Leonard on Community. What more could you ask for?

Taskmaster (2015)

S19 E08 · Science All Your Life
Seriously all time great cast I love them all so much

Murder, She Wrote (1984)

S05 E22 · Mirror, Mirror, On the Wall (2)
Jessica and Seth really are friendship goals. Really good conclusion to the two parter and the season in general.

Murder, She Wrote (1984)

S05 E20 · Three Strikes, You're Out
Pretty solid. Didn't figure out the killer until close to the end so they did a good job of not making it too obvious which is nice. Also it's funny when Jessica plays dumb to get information, she does it so well.

I've never lived someplace where I can travel between two cities as quickly as Jessica does in this episode. Absolutely wild, honestly. Great episode though, always fun to see Jerry Orbach on the show.

Murder, She Wrote (1984)

S05 E18 · Trevor Hudson's Legacy
Pretty basic overall but with some excellent acting.

Full Game Changer/Taskmaster crossover when?

Murder, She Wrote (1984)

S05 E17 · The Sins of Castle Cove
I really love seeing the beauty parlor ladies. They're so fun.

I will always love Jessica showing up shitty cops but my god the black and white flashbacks were so much. They could have just left it in colour and kept the narration it would have still made sense and felt less forced.

Murder, She Wrote (1984)

S05 E14 · From Russia ... With Blood
Honestly a little bit boring which is disappointing considering the potential there with it being in Russia and having David McCallum there.

Murder, She Wrote (1984)

S05 E13 · Fire Burn, Cauldron Bubble
I adore Roddy McDowell but I'm not sure it was worth having to see Bill Maher's face throughout the episode. The episode itself was pretty average, standard mystery, fun to see people from Cabot Cove, hard to overcome the desire to throw things at Bill Maher.

Took me longer to figure this one out which is fun. Also more Jessica going undercover shenanigans. I love it.
