I hate to be the odd man out, but I couldn’t STAND them reusing the same 2 songs. I swear they played the DUh-duh-duh-duh-duh song like 5 times in 22 minutes. It’s good enough but reusing it that many times gets old fast. Maybe I’m listening to a different version with the audio changed for copyrig

The jail-cell bit is the finest bit of visual comedy I’ve seen in a while

Hahaaaa I love a good monkey’s paw: Frances wanted to “save” her mom but she woke up killing her indirectly. And I’m calling it, this shows gonna end tragically with Frances embracing capitalism and killing Marshall herself.

INVINCIBLE (2021)

S03 E07 · WHAT HAVE I DONE?
This is another one for the books. Truly special. And RIP Rex. I actually cared about you, unlike your comic counterpart.

So it IS a SCIENCE SPIDER! You thought it was a magic spider but NO! THEY HAD US IN THE FIRST HALF. Also kind of a bummer Peter didn’t have to lift any rubble with the title being what it was. Actually I kinda thought it was a bit anticlimactic of an ending in general. I had hoped his Norman/Oscorp

Cool seeing the rematch between Peter and Scorpion. The classic costume reveal was… amazing :) Lonnie stopping Peter from killing was an an interesting choice; I guess it shows Lonnie’s a criminal with a heart of gold? And Peter’s only human, it makes sense he’d consider that option given that Scorp

Peter Parker saves fish. He is NOT a fish murderer. Deadass though, they nailed Spider-Man. He truly is a nice guy. I’d wanna be his pal Also again, I love Nico, and the new title card referencing Brand New Day, veeeerry cool 😎

A new era of Spider-Man begins indeed :) Jeff Trammel is a genius, and what a stacked cast! Haruharu Haruko herself, Kari Walgreen playing Aunt May?! Soooo good. And Xeno Robinson as Harry?! SO COOL DUDE. Can’t wait for him to turn evil and attack Peter. Little sad Uncle Ben didn’t die because of

This is one of Cartoon Network’s best. Goodbye Cartoon Network.

Craig of the Creek (2018)

S06 E10 · See You Tomorrow at the Creek
I teared up. My only complaint is we didn’t see the witches anymore (my favorite characters) You can always move me with an ending that shows the passage of time. In Craig’s case, we didn’t need to see a timeskip to remind us that he’s aging; Bernard’s farewell was enough. I’m glad they showed all

I kinda cringe when they start talking about computers. And the portrayal of teenagers, idk. Caspian had a goth nickname, that was kind of odd. Idk I always find portrayals of high schoolers unrealistic in media, that’s why I like when they either play them up as waaaaayyyy over the top (think croma

A cool start to the new DCU! The ending doesn’t have a huge sense of finality but I guess that’s to be expected with something like this. I guess I gotta give them time to build the story. Even still, think the ending would’ve hit a little harder if SPOILER -we could’ve seen the fal

S06 E07 · The Elders of the Creek
Fuck you Cartoon Network, make the mean nerds have character development and you WILL make me cry. Mark Barry and David reuniting with Kenneth is so good. Ik this isn’t the finale but the older characters in this show are more relatable to me, and this felt like their send off. And man all the anim

Very unique! I liked the laid back tone of this! Seeing all these NYC locations was neat! I had seen the dancing arcade chicken in a book called Scouting Stories by a location scout, which made me wonder; how many iconic locales had this show shown me that I didn’t realize? The will-they won’t-the

Infinity Train (2019)

Book One: The Perennial Child
I like what this cartoon is trying to do/be. I heard in a podcast Owen Dennis said he was able to make this because Cartoon Network liked Miniseries’ after the success of Over the Garden Wall. As such it’s kinda hard for me to not compare the 2 in my head. I feel like this isn’t fair to IT but even

S01 E15 · The Passion of Reverend Ruckus
Made me feel at the end there.

Downtown (1999)

S01 E11 · Before and After
I know the show is framing the girl at the end as mentally insane but hey man she called Alex cute. He shoulda smashed and put a ring on that. Super nerdy hot girls are dope, and Alex should be grateful.

Finished it today! It was funny. Not suuuuper funny, but pretty funny! Now I can REALLY appreciate the Spider-Verse reference. I liked JFK the best.

Craig of the Creek (2018)

S06 E04 · Whose Dimension Is It Anyway?
This episode, like infinity train, is all about accepting divorce. I really liked this episode. I really like this show, for showing different types of families. Families that separate like Wren’s, and families that aren’t there for their kids like the scout kid whose name I’m blanking on. Good show

End of an era :) While I didn't leave Season 2 feeling as excited as I did after the first, it was still quite the journey. I hope to see more out of this magical world.

Why is everyone on here shitting on Jen? Like yeah she’s being pretentious but dude Chakka is sooo out of line not respecting Alex’s personal space and taking his money. Terrible sister
