so much trauma, everyone is damaged

You think it's going way too fast, as a murder mystery, at the beginning as you find out who it is so quick, but then it starts to unfold that these characters are so rich and all of their stories are so involved and thought out that that isn't where it ends, not even close.

Yep, I think I liked this more than Happy Valley. Not a lot in it, and maybe just having one season almost helps it in that regard, but the less humorous tones at time and the relation to the mining strikes was really enjoyable here. Morrissey was brilliant in this, couldn’t fault his performance
