The most honest work of Ricky Gervais. A show that can't not make you want to be a better person. Captivating from start to finish

What a genius Ricky Gervais is! He developed a one-line story into a plot that extends 3 seasons without losing its core essence. Ofcourse some parts lagged, but this series had several memorable moments that I'll remember forever! Thank you, Ricky, for making me cry ❤️

That finale really had the waterworks going

Why pay for therapy when Ricky Gervais' sarcasm literally exists.

Not too keen on rewatching season 3 just for the finale. This show was a big thing for me when lockdown first started, I remember just sitting on my sofa and letting it play and not once turning it off. The way it shows grief, acceptance and the beauty in life is incredible. The little moments are

4 episodes down. Probably the most cynical show in his career. Series 1 and 2 were okay. Series 3 is rinse and repeat, the same stuff but it’s lost all heart, a heart that was only surface in the first place. It pretends to be a celebration of life but it’s characters are thinly drawn and often emb

A show that deals with grieving for loss in such a great way whilst also having great humour. However Ricky Gervais has a thing with sometimes not using humour sometimes as much as he should, which is a shame caus his humour is very good. Just watch any of his stand up comedy shows and you'll see. B

I now realize that this show wants us to cry so bad. Pure misery porn, no depth at all except the usual "kindness is good" juju, and every single episode is the same. Tony is an ass, and he redeems himself by such a bland plot device that gets introduced and taken care of in three episodes... I don'

This season managed to pull of quite a few laughs whilst also having quite a deep meaning. A decent season. However, dragged in some parts of some episodes. 7.5/10

this show has a special place in my heart

literally the funniest and most depressing show oat

Much more consistent that the other 2 seasons with a fantastic final episode 8/10

Most emotionally beautiful show I've watched. Ricky Gervais is a genius. Loved this show.

Half of this was OK but the other half was really solid and emotional and funny. This portrays what losing a loved one can feel like and how some people can struggle with it or how people want to act with it. It's quite a powerful message 7.5/10

Ricky Gervais is a phenomenal actor, director and written and the first season is sad and depressing and happy and heartwarming and it mixes so well together so far the show is phenomenal. 9.5/10

Better than the really good first season❤️💔📈💯 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/

I weeped so many times yet this healed me in some type of way.

Brilliant how it manages to be hilariously gut wrenching

A very emotional, yet funny series which can be watched within a day, don't miss this

Fun series with some funny Ricky gervais moments. A little too full of sob moments but I enjoyed the humor and character development in this show
