Overall a pretty “meh” episode, but Morty and Helen are hilarious in this first half of the two-parter. That, plus George’s chaotic storyline with the kid, makes this a 4-star episode. The close talker is memorable as well.

Who would pick going into business with Kramer over dinner with the Costanzas? There are things you regret for the rest of the night and things you regret for the rest of your life. Judge Reinhold’s close talker is utterly terrifying.

For years I’ve been hearing about the “close talker” and not once did anyone mention that it was Judge fucking Reinhold. This episode feels like a drastic uptick in overall zaniness. Did Jeopardy ever switch around the contestant interviews?

This is a double episode so my review is on part 2.

Judge Reinhold as Elaine's close-talking boyfriend that would invite Jerry's parents to everything was incredible. 🤣 Also, Jerry's parents and George's parents did not disappoint here. Such a funny Part 1 of this 2-parter.
